Letters of Invitation for International Participants
Evaluation in a changing world
June 19 to 21, 2023; workshops on June 17 and 18; international sharing on June 22
Participants who require a visa to enter Canada, may require a letter of invitation to attend the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) 2023 conference (C2023). Letters will be issued by the CES to those meeting a minimum of ONE of the following criteria:
You have been a member of CES prior to December 31, 2022.
You are scheduled to present at the CES 2023 conference.
You are already registered for the CES 2023 conference.
You can provide evidence of your work or study in the field of evaluation.
To request a letter of invitation, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org, indicating “Invitation letter” in the subject line with the following information:
An indication of which of the four criteria (above) you meet. If you meet only criteria #4, please include documentation of your work or study in the field evaluation on the appropriate official letterhead.
Your name: please cite your full name as it appears in your passport to facilitate the visa process.
(optionally) Your full address that should appear on the letter.
Your confirmation of conference registration.
Your passport number.
Your passport issue date.
Your passport expiration date.
The country of issuance of your passport.
The official name of the Canadian High Commission or Canadian Embassy where you will request your visa.
Any other information that you believe is needed in order to process your request or to develop the letter of invitation.
Please note that all letters of invitation will be sent in pdf format by email specifically and only to participate in the CES 2023 conference in June 2023 in Quebec City. Letters of invitation will be sent within four working days of receipt of all requested information.
